A Visit to Hill-Stead in Farmington, CT

A researcher from OCAD (Ontario College of Art and Design) spent last week working in the Arts of the Book Library with Colin. She's a colour theorist and her husband is a videographer. They both teach at OCAD and were gracious enough to invite Colin and me out to breakfast.

Well, breakfast quickly turned into an all-day excursion to Hill-Stead in Farmington. Hill-Stead is a private museum with a collection of impressionist paintings and other treasures amassed by this wealthy family. Colin and I had a wonderful time and we were so glad that our new friends invited us.

We couldn't take any pictures inside the house, but we did take a few of the grounds.
