Happy Mother's Day!

If you think of mother's day cards like tax returns, then we mailed our cards just in time this year. And if our mothers are like the IRS or Revenue Canada, they will surely note that the cards were postmarked the day before mother's day.

But luckily, our moms can't charge us late filing fees like....

Gosh. It may be in really poor taste, but this post reminded me that our Canadian tax returns are overdue... sh*t.

Anyways, sorry moms for being late with mother's day (and sorry about comparing you with the tax man). And for swearing on our mother's day blog post. And for being on the other side of the continent. And for phoning infrequently at times...

Let's just say I'm sorry for everything.

I'm hoping to make up for it by saying... WE MISS YOU AND WE LOVE YOU AND WE APPRECIATE ALL THE MILLIONS OF WONDERFUL THINGS YOU HAVE DONE FOR US!

And by posting this mildly sexist cartoon which I will likely be apologizing for come father's day.
