Howdy! The big news from Walsherstonia is that we love our new Honda Fit and have been driving all over the province, exploring Ontario in the fall. Yesterday we went to Niagara Falls and to see the Willowbank School of Restoration Arts. The house at Willowbank was the ancestral home of some of the Hamiltons, which are part of my mother's side of the family. I also have a newly found interest in this school as I would love to study restoration.... Maybe in a couple of years.

Niagara Falls was just as massive and breathtaking as one would expect. I couldn't help but be disappointed at how the surrounding area has grown into a tourist trap. Personally, I cannot understand visiting the falls... then going to gawk at celebrity models at the wax museum, gamble at the casino, and then check out one of the dozens of strip clubs nearby. To each their own, I guess.
But the drive was gorgeous and Colin snapped a couple more beautiful shots of Southern Ontario in the fall.

Now, we may just learn to enjoy living here... if we can just survive the winter! More on that to come soon, as the snow seems to be scheduled to arrive any day now.
